We are coming to Florida.
from our friends in Florida, check out the Spirit Cat collective for great music and art from Florida and everywhere. Thank you Spirit Kitties!
These sweet boys, who will always have a part of their hearts in Florida, have a new release! Here are some words from them about the album.
Please enjoy and share with your friends! The track listing is in chronological order, based on when we wrote the songs. Some songs were written in FL, some in Asheville, NC, and one was written in NYC. These songs represent the experience from our journey throughout the last year. We have made this album available for free because we want to share our efforts with as many people as possible, after all, it is for people.
Emotion and excitement.
Here is our new album . We are so pleased to finally have these tracks to share. A year of traveling and playing music led to the recording of this album October 20-21, 2011 in Pensacola, FL. at Raw Panda Studio. The songs were sequenced in order of their creation, the first song being the oldest, and so on. This is our 2011 in audible form. This is what words can’t express about the reward of leaving the day-to-day routine of “normal” life to see the world and turn our dreams into reality. We wrote many songs in 2011, but these seemed to be most appropriate and representative of the feeling we get from a year on the road, traveling all over the East Coast, to the tip of Maine, and spending a magical summer in Brooklyn before settling in the cozy hills of WNC. This music is like a listenable diary for us, a book of our adventure, that you read with your ears. It happens to be the story of two people playing music for people, but ultimately, we like to think, that it is YOUR story as well. The story of you. Yes. YOU.
A live version of one of the tunes on our next album, “Desert Country and Physics”. This song was written in Whittier, NC in a cabin in the smoky mtns. and performed in Tallahassee on WVFS’s live radio program, “Hootenanny”.

The only place to be. July 4th, 2011.
Don’t know why this was never posted:
Hotdogs, cold beer. Friends. Rooftops. Fireworks, seeming to fatefully accent the music throughout the night. The J train passing by and the NYC skyline. All of those things came together to make one of the most memorable nights of our lives.
We are releasing our 2nd studio album, For People, some time this month…
